"U.S. District Judge Gregory Presnell granted a preliminary injunction stopping the law from being enforced until a trial is held to determine its constitutionality, and he denied a Florida licensing and regulatory agency's request to dismiss it."

• News Service of Florida: A plan to increase out-of-state tuition in Florida is put on pause. "Florida higher-education officials on Thursday put on hold a request by university presidents to raise tuition for out-of-state students, hours after Gov. Ron DeSantis touted efforts to avoid tuition hikes over the past decade."

• WLRN-Miami: A somber day of remembrance in Surfside two years after condo collapse tragedy. "Saturday marked two years since the Champlain Towers South condominium building in Surfside collapsed, perishing the lives of 98 people and producing one of the worst tragedies witnessed in South Florida history."

• Florida Politics: Gov. DeSantis signs bill placing restrictions on legal ads. "Under the measure, which takes effect July 1, legal service ads can’t be presented as a medical alert, health alert, drug alert or a PSA.
