The Crosbys bring over twenty years of combined estate sale experience in the northeast Florida market and are exclusive partners in Ortega Trading Company, LLC as well as in life. Ortega Trading Company is Jacksonville’s premier estate sale company for good reason. Claudia has an enthusiastic dedication to history coupled with an understanding of aesthetic value, quality, and current design trends. Regardless of value, her excitement for the rare item she has never seen before knows no bounds. Conversely, Jay’s critical eye and attention to craftsmanship and innate skepticism balances it all… most of the time! Still, obsessive curiosity and a shared dedication to the truth gives the couple a unique ability to value every item in an estate and bring their clients the highest potential return.

Robbie Davis
Robbie Davis

Robbie Davis
Robbie Davis is an eighth generation Alachua County native - a GHS Purple Hurricane, and a Florida Gator.

His mother instilled in him a love of reading, and a love of books at an early age. Many trips to the public library, Mikes Bookstore, and the Friends of the Library Booksale fostered his “book obsession”, and in short order Robbie became an elementary school bibliophile.

For the past thirty five years Robbie has volunteered in the Collectors Corner, at the Friends of the Library Booksale. Known for its rare, unusual, signed, first editions, and illustrated books, Robbie has evaluated and priced thousands of books thru the years.

Paris Gartner

Ocala Antique Mall & Estates
(352) 624-2511 (Office)

Paris Gartner was literally born into the antique sales business at the Ocala Antique Mall. Growing up, she was always surrounded by incredibly talented antiquity professionals and educators. Some people wonder how many lives she’s lived because of her vast knowledge in antiques. As they say: once it's in your blood, it never leaves! Antiques have been a love for her entire life. Researching has always been of second-nature, so when you put the two together, you have Paris- someone with the constant will to learn about antiquities, their history, and value. In other words, Paris sees herself as a historian of "stuff." Antiques have a long history that are typically linked to historical eras and ancient cultures. They are not only tangible items. Oftentimes, the story defines the object itself. Paris’s personal expertise falls in the era of the late 1700's-1920's. Whether it's Primitive Americana, Empire, Gothic, Arts & Crafts, Victorian, Rococo Revival, Edwardian, Art Nouveau, American or European- fine furniture, furnishings, art, silver, and porcelain of this timeframe are among the few fields she specializes in. Being face-to-face with such rich history, hearing sentimental stories, discovering precious valuables, and learning something new every day are only a few reasons why Paris loves what she does. It's like a treasure hunt every day of her life- and who doesn't love a treasure hunt?! Paris says the fact that she’s had the opportunity to immerse herself in the area has been nothing short of a blessing. Hopefully, in years to come, her passion for antiques will pour into the hearts of others and continue to live on.
