The Patriot’s Pumpkin Patch in Interlachen is providing more than just Halloween spirit, it's making a real impact on local families.

With its Main Street characterized by a civic center, a multitude of shops and both an elementary and high school, Hastings was once an energetic town. It also dominated the potato and cabbage industry.

Close to 150 people attended a prayer vigil at UF's Plaza of the Americas to remember Turning Point USA founder and CEO Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, on the first stop of his “American Comeback Tour.”
