John Mackey has composed for orchestras such as the Brooklyn Philharmonic and the New York Youth Symphony, as well as theater productions at the Dallas Theater Center. His work has also been widely featured in the dance world, with performances by the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Parsons Dance Company, and New York City Ballet.
