Primary election results
• WUFT News/AP: Here’s who won Florida’s primaries for governor, agriculture commissioner and attorney general. "U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist has won the Democratic nomination for governor in Florida, putting him in position to challenge Gov. Ron DeSantis this fall. In selecting Crist, Florida Democrats sided with a candidate backed by many in the party’s establishment who viewed him as the safest choice. The 66-year-old Crist defeated Nikki Fried, the state agriculture commissioner."
• WUFT News: State and federal results: Kat Cammack and Danielle Hawk win Florida’s 3rd Congressional District primaries. "The Associated Press called the Republican primary race for incumbent Kat Cammack about 20 minutes after polls closed. A call in favor of Democrat Danielle Hawk followed about 90 minutes later."
• WUFT News: These are the new members of the Alachua County School Board. "Tina Certain emerged as the only incumbent Alachua County School Board member to hold onto her seat Tuesday night, as Mildred Russell lost to Diyonne McGraw, the challenger in District 2 who most recently held her seat. Sarah Rockwell beat Ray Holt in District 3, and Kay Abbitt defeated Prescott Cowles. Both Rockwell and Abbitt are newcomers to the board."
• WUFT News: The Gainesville mayoral race heads to a runoff after a 10-person primary. "Harvey Ward and Ed Bielarski are headed to a runoff in the November general election after emerging as the two top candidates for Gainesville mayor in Tuesday’s primary. ... Ward is in his second term as a Gainesville city commissioner and was among the four commissioners who in January voted to fire Bielarski as general manager of the city’s utility."

• Politico: Most DeSantis-endorsed school board candidates win their Florida primaries. "The majority of local school board candidates backed by Gov. Ron DeSantis — at least 21 out of 30 — won their elections Tuesday, results that underscore how the Republican governor’s stance on education has gained support throughout Florida."
• NPR News: Maxwell Frost, one of the first Gen Z candidates for Congress, has won his primary. "Frost's win nearly secures his path to Congress since the Orlando-based seat is considered a solidly Democratic district. Frost will face off against Republican Calvin Wimbish in November."

• Miami Herald ($): DeSantis’ plan to bus migrants to Delaware on standby as Texas takes ‘pressure off.’ "Gov. Ron DeSantis has talked about busing undocumented immigrants out of the state for the better part of the year, and his administration has $12 million to roll out a program that could do just that. But the Republican governor on Tuesday said that a similar program in Texas has 'taken a lot of pressure off' his administration, suggesting that DeSantis is not in any rush to start relocating migrants out of Florida."
• NPR News: A change to Florida's ballot signature review creates headaches for local officials. "A little-known provision in Senate Bill 90, a sweeping voting measure passed by Florida Republicans last year, increased how much input the public can have when it comes to approving signatures on mail ballots. This change comes at a time when local election officials across the country are still dealing with the fallout of misinformation following the 2020 election."
