Alachua County's elected leaders in June will settle their long-running budget dispute with Sheriff Sadie Darnell in court.
County commissioners decided to sue the sheriff almost a yearago when the two could not come to an agreement on how the sheriff manages and spends certain budget items.
Circuit civil Judge Monica Brasington will oversee the trial.
