Gainesville's Homeless Must Present Blue Card To Receive Shelter At St. Francis House

Gainesville's homeless must be free of arrest warrants and must not be registered as sexual offenders or predators to receive shelter at St. Francis House. At the shelter, each person must present a blue card issued by the Gainesville Police Department proving that he or she meets the requirements. The card serves to protect the children who are sheltered by the home. Those who do not meet the requirements are given assistance in finding support from shelters that do not house families, such as Grace Marketplace.
