The Gainesville Police Department announced at a briefing Friday afternoon that Pedro Bravo has been charged with the murder of Christian Aguilar.  Spokesperson Ben Tobias also said at the briefing that the body of Aguilar has not yet been recovered.

In a release, GPD says it will continue search efforts for Aguilar and asks citizens to volunteer in the search. GPD also asks property owners with lime rock roads on their properties to check those areas for ground that appears to have been disturbed.

GPD is also asking for information from anyone who may have seen a suspicious vehicle that looks like a blue Chevy Blazer in remote areas on the night of Thursday, September 20.

It’s been more than a week since the disappearance of University of Florida student Christian Aguilar.  As the search continues, his family remains hopeful. Family members and law enforcement officials are still asking for support as the search area changes.
