Eastside High School student, Sarah Landauer who collapsed during a track and field exercise on Monday passed away this morning (Wednesday) just before 6 A-M at Shands at the University of Florida. Friends and family gathered at the hospital to say their goodbyes to the well-liked, seventeen year old star athlete and student. Eastside High School Principal, Jeff Charbonnet spoke with WUFT-FM’s Kara Van Hoose about the tragedy and how the school family is coping with the loss of a student and athlete known for her winning smile and positive attitude.
