A Nov. 3 Florida ballot amendment proposing the increase of property tax homestead exemptions stands to significantly reduce the library’s funding. -
The proposed constitutional amendment (HJR 1F) would increase the current $50,000 homestead exemption to $150,000 next year and $250,000 the following year.
