Memorial weekend claims two lives so far

There have been two deaths in North Central Florida over the holiday weekend. One traffic related, the other a stabbing. 31-year old Bruce Franklin Douglas of Archer died Sunday night, after he lost control of his SUV on I-75 just north of the newberry road exit. He was thrown from the vehicle, then struck and killed by a tractor trailer and a passenger car just before eleven pm. And in Levy County, 24 year old Roderic Sparks died after being stabbed during a fight in Inglis. A 15 year old has been charged with manslaughter in the death.
