The annual cost of childcare in Florida is nearly as much as annual rent and is almost double the cost of in-state tuition at a four year university, according to the Economic Policy Institute.

A new museum will open in Gainesville in the fall of 2017. The museum will feature a reconstructed Gatorade gallery with original scientific equipment, a fabrication lab, laser cutting machine and a creativity lab.
