Levy County fire grows to over 1,500 acres

Smoke billows over a pasture in Levy County. A fire just south of Williston is now over 1,600 acres.

In Levy County, the Cow Creek fire has now grown to 1,600 acres and is 30% contained.

Fire officials say constant winds will impact smoke conditions for weeks, with early morning and night being the worst.

We visited the area earlier today, just south of Williston.
