Protests in Egypt began one week ago today, and even thousands of miles away their voices can be heard. With a large international student population, the University of Florida is home to a large Egyptian community which is reaching out to friends and family in the country as often as possible. WUFT-FM’s Stephanie Brown spoke with pharmacy student Noha Abdelghany who returned from a trip to Egypt just one month ago and cannot believe how fast the revolution organized.
