A Bradford County man is in jail without bond for allegedly videotaping some of his customers. Doyce Griffis, owner of a local tanning business, was charged after Bradford County Chief of Operations Brad Smith says two girls using his tanning beds felt uncomfortable and brought their complaints to the police.
“The two girls had been there earlier in the day. They felt uneasy and thought they might be being filmed through a two-way mirror,” he says.
Smith also adds Griffis doesn’t feel he did anything wrong because the videos were for personal use. His charges include making and publishing computer pornography and video voyeurism after nearly ten years of videotaping customers. Bradford County is working with the State Attorney’s office to investigate the case.
