Earlier this year, President Joe Biden set out a goal to have 70% of adult Americans vaccinated with at least one shot of a vaccine against COVID-19 by July 4. The White House acknowledged the U.S. would fall short of the goal. In Alachua County, local health officials continue to make progress on their vaccination goals
