The future of highway pollinators

If you’ve ever driven down one of Florida’s highways you may have noticed that long strip of grass beside the road.
Well, that 124 thousand miles of grass could actually help save pollinators like bees and butterflies.

WUFT’s Krystal Felix sat down with UF biology expert Jaret Daniels and UF social scientist Laura Warner.

Krystal first asked how roadside pollinators help the environment.

Krystal is a reporter for WUFT News who can be reached by calling 352-392-6397 or emailing news@wuft.org.
