Shands Children’s Hospital at the University of Florida celebrated the opening of its new Pediatric Oncology Unit on Thursday. The NASCAR and V Foundations combined their efforts to donate $500,000 toward renovations. WUFT-FM’s Patrick Colden spoke with V Foundation CEO Nick Valvano about his organization’s contribution to the unit.
