Gov. Rick Scott signed three bills into law on Thursday, Jan. 21.
The first, SB 552, implements policies to protect and restore water and natural resources statewide, and focuses on meeting water quality and supply needs. Scott signed it despite a recent high-profile objection.
Second was HB 7003, which expands employment opportunities and creates a financial literacy program for individuals with disabilities.
The last bill, SB 672, provides funding for school uniforms, increases educational opportunities for students with unique abilities and expands the Personal Learning Scholarship Account Program.
