University of Florida students found ways to unwind at the university's Flavet Field Sunday before they begin their final exams for the fall semester.
The student organization Keys Governing Body hosted the Bounce Your Stress Away event from 3 to 6 p.m. It included a bounce house and an inflatable obstacle course, and about 60 students attended, said Yvette Langford, who helped organize the event.
As music played from a speaker, students sat in the grass, pet therapy dogs, ate fried chicken and threw darts at paint-filled balloons.
The event was a way to promote stress relief, said Langford, a 19-year-old finance student at UF. Classes for the fall semester end Wednesday, and exams begin on Saturday.
“We wanted something big to end the semester with,” she said.
