Alachua County's rich Native American history honored

November is Native American Heritage month, where the nation honors the culture and history of America’s indigenous people. Alachua County has a deep connection to Native American culture. The tribes from the area are Potano, Timucua and Seminole. WUFT’s Jasmine Oliphant spoke with Willent Hancock, curator of exhibitions at the Matheson History Museum in Gainesville.
