Average Florida gas price drops eight cents

Wallets may feel heavier this week as gas prices continue to fall.

Florida's average gas price is $3.63 per gallon, an eight-cent decrease from last week, said AAA Spokeswoman Jessica Brady.

Gas prices are falling because demand is decreasing in the United States and abroad. The European debt crisis is affecting demand in Europe, Brady said. U.S. demand has fallen 6 percent since August while gas supply has increased.

Gas prices should continue to decrease throughout the month, Brady said.
