Better to be aware of sturgeon than fearful says FWC official

This holiday weekend is one of the busiest for boaters and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is reminding boaters of how to steer clear of jumping gulf sturgeon, common this time of year in the Suwannee River. As WUFT-FM’s Brittany Thompson reports, it’s better to be aware of the 200 pound fish than fear its presence.
