The Florida Gators lost to the top-ranked Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday, Feb. 7, 68-61. The Gators led by two points going into halftime, but Kentucky answered back with a strong second half, outscoring the Gators 40-31. However, the Gators kept the score close for a majority of the second half before Florida’s Jon Horford missed two free throws with 1:41 left in regulation and the score 61-59. The free throws would have tied the game.
