A new emergency rental funding program has opened in Alachua County Monday.
Alachua County’s application for the new program is more user-friendly than the previous version was through the CARES Act. County spokesperson Mark Sexton said this is a big improvement from the last application.
The fund is taking applications through Sept. 30 or until the funds run out.
