Checking your child's grades? There's an app for that

Keeping track of your children's grades is now at the palm of your hands. Alachua County Public Schools Public Information Officer Jackie Johnson says a new app will allow parents to stay up to date with their children's progress in school.

Johnson adds more than 6,000 parents and 13,000 students use the parent portal daily and will now have easier access with the addition of this app.  Mobile access has been available for iPhone users since September.  Florida's 89.1 WUFT-FM's Rachel Stern says mobile access is easy to engage.
