Dobro master “Tuck” Tucker plays tonight at Kickin’ Devil

A variety of new venues have popped up in recent months in the Gainesville acoustic music scene. One of those is the kickin’ Devil on Northeast 27th Avenue. Tonight’s performers are Grant Peeples and dobro master James “Tuck” Tucker who will play from 7 to 10 p.m. Florida’s 89.1, WUFT-FM’s Donna Green-Townsend sat down with Tucker who talks about his latest CD “Smugglers Notch” and his love for the dobro.
Tucker will have a solo performance at the Kickin’ Devil on Friday, February 4. Other dates on his schedule are Satchel’s Lightning Salvage on February 23rd from 6 to 9 p.m. and Sisters Cafe in the Haile Village on February 24th.
