Festival of lights celebrates a sense of community

The Gainesville Jewish community will celebrate the beginning of Chanukah tonight.  As part of this year's celebration, the public is being invited to participate in a unique event on Wednesday night at the Bo Diddley Downtown Plaza in Gainesville which will demonstrate the spirit of giving to those in need by handing out toys and canned goods.  Florida's 89.1, WUFT-FM's Stephanie Brown talked with the Director of the local Lubavitch Chabad Jewish and Student Community Center at the University of Florida, Rabbi Berl Goldman about the planned event and the meaning of Chanukah.
