WUFT Classic features a collection of classical music, jazz and live and recorded performance programming – 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Tune in via the online stream at wuft.org, on an HD radio at 89.1-2, or now there is a new way to listen – on 102.7 FM in Gainesville.

WUFT program director Richard Drake returns to his classical roots with a new weekday program “Magnum Opus.” From 1 to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, Richard will play long-form classical pieces in their entirety, interview artists and performers, and host live performances in the WUFT Classic studio.

The broadcast schedule also includes nightly symphony and orchestra performances, Saturday opera matinees, Sunday baroque music and “Jazz After Hours” overnight on the weekends. The popular series “Exploring Music with Bill McGlaughlin” will provide commentary and insight into selected works twice a day during the week at both noon and 7 p.m.

Enjoy the new offerings on WUFT classic and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

Special note: The 102.7 FM service area is limited to the City of Gainesville. The 250 watt repeater signal needs the assistance of an FM antenna for the best listening experience.
