Severe weather caused a few headaches in North Central Florida

Cleanup has begun across the state after severe weather early this morning caused traffic delays, downed power lines and knocked over trees. Spokeswoman for the Florida Department of Transportation, Gina Busscher says storm debris caused several traffic delays. Law enforcement officers responded to several intersections where traffic lights were out. At one point Gainesville Regional Utilities reported about 6,000 customers were without power.
