Alachua County Sees Decline in COVID-19 Cases

According to the Alachua County COVID-19 Dashboard, cases have been declining for the last six weeks. Increased vaccinations are attributed to curbing the Delta variant. Medical experts say people should be watchful even with declining cases, and they report influenza is expected to make a comeback this winter, putting those who are unprotected at risk of contracting both COVID-19 and the flu.
