Last night, Troy Davis was executed after being convicted in 1989, for the murder of an off-duty police officer in Savannah Georgia. The case stirred attention throughout the country about whether or not the justice system was killing an innocent man. A day later many questions remain unanswered, and some people are confused as to why the recanted witness statements weren't enough to overturn the conviction. Florida's 89.1, WUFT-FM's Samantha Taub spoke with University of Florida Levin College of Law Professor Kenneth Nunn about the case, and why in many cases it may be difficult to overturn a conviction.
