What's it like to report from the Panama Canal?

In this series, NPR takes readers and listeners behind the news and explains how we do our journalism. Here, All Things Considered co-host Ari Shapiro transports us to Panama for this week's Reporter's Notebook.

A team from NPR's All Things Considered traveled to Panama to report on the canal there, which has gained attention in recent months because of President Trump's comments about the U.S. taking control of it.
