The number of bulls for sale this year at the Ocala Bull Show increased significantly, from 100 bulls to 165 in just one year. The increase comes following a change of date for the annual sale.

Congressman John Lewis, the only living member of the "Big 6" from the Civil Rights Movement, came to UF to talk about his work. Students and community members in attendance asked him questions about his life and his opinion on the new Black Lives Matter social media movement. Lewis encouraged the audience to continue fighting for equality.

This weekend marks the 15th anniversary of Gainesville Senior Games hosted by Gainesville Sports Commission. This year people 50 and older can compete in nine local sporting events.

When Shaun Willis opened the Mustang Grill and Bar in June, it became Archer's third restaurant. After October, though, it will also become a place of entertainment. Mustang After Dark will feature musicians from Nashville, trivia and karaoke.

The Harn is celebrating its 25th anniversary with an exhibit, opening Friday, that will encourage visitors to discuss the works across time periods and cultures. The exhibit will run through Jan. 3.
