Gas prices don't dampen a spring break day at the beach

Despite the rising gas prices, Alachua County spring breakers are not missing out on their traditional 78 mile trip to Crescent Beach. Saint Augustine Visitors and Convention Bureau Spokesman Jay Humphreys says families and high schoolers are flooding the beach and this spring break will help bring in a lot of money to the area.

Humphreys says condos and hotels are fully booked for the next two weeks and officials are expecting a busy upcoming Easter weekend with beautiful weather.
