Retired Alachua County Sergeant Passes Away

Keith Faulk, a retired sergeant with the Alachua County Sheriff's Office, has passed away. No details have been released yet about the cause of the 55-year-old's death. Faulk worked for the sheriff's office for 26 years before retiring in 2010, according to the Gainesville Sun. According to the sheriff's office's Facebook page, a “Celebration of Life” service will be held at the First Baptist Church of High Springs at 20112 N. US 441 in High Springs. The service will be held on Friday at 5 p.m. and is open to the public. A visitation will precede the service at 4 p.m. at the same church.
