Two years after her disappearance, the family of missing Haleigh Cummings reaches out for answers

Today marks the 2-year anniversary of the disappearance of five-year-old Haleigh Cummings. Haleigh was reported missing from her home in Satsuma in the middle of the night. Putnam County Sheriff’s office officials say it is very likely the abductor was no stranger to Haleigh’s family. Family members believe her father’s former wife, Misty Croslin, who was Haleigh’s step-mothre, holds the key to this mystery. Croslin was the last person who saw Haleigh before she vanished. WUFT-FM’s Trent Kelly spoke with Haleigh’s grandmother, Teresa Neves who continues to look for answers. Neves says, community support helps her keep hope through this difficult time. The family will hold a vigil tonight at six at Neves’s home in Weleetka.
