Hernando County searching for ways to save dollars

The Hernando County Board of Commissioners is looking into ideas to save money and balance the budget. One proposal on the table is implementing a "Furlough Friday" in which the government center would close every last Friday of the month and employees would take an unpaid day off. The proposed "Furlough Friday" program would last for ten months from this December through September 2012.
