  • The Swamp Party dominated Student Government elections at the University of Florida, winning 37 Senate seats.
  • A Marion County deputy was arrested after being accused of passing letters to a female inmate. The content of the letters led investigators to believe the two were in a relationship.
  • Florida is fourth in the nation for high school graduates passing Advanced Placement exams. Alachua County ranks third in the state.
  • Vice President Joe Biden will speak at a gun violence conference Thursday in Danbury, Conn.
  • Mexican police have arrested a fugitive who has been wanted for the murder of his ex-girlfriend in Chicago 13 years ago.
