Voting machines accepted by the Americans with Disabilities Act encourage individuals with disabilities to cast their vote. Despite this technology, the process can still take up to 30 minutes. But a new voting system developed by UF researcher Juan Gilbert, which is in its demonstration stage, could help voters who still feel uneasy visiting the booths.
