Progress Energy wants rate increase for proposed nuclear power plants

Progress Energy Florida may receive approval to increase rates for next year's billing cycle. The increases will be a part of the utility's "cost-recovery" measures, which is a fee placed on top of customer's bills to pre-emptively fund their proposed nuclear power plants in Levy county. Florida's 89.1, WUFT-FM's Chip Skambis reports on why Progress Energy wants to increase this charge, and how this action is drawing some fire.
