WUFT's Morning Edition host, Glenn Richards, recently spoke with humorist, author, and stand-up comedian, Paula Poundstone. Last time they spoke was just before her March 2020 appearance at the Phillips Center in Gainesville was postponed because of COVID. That appearance has been rescheduled for Friday, March 18, 2022.
Paula is back on the road now and will be appearing at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 23rd at the Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center in The Villages.
Paula talks with Glenn about how she spent some of her time off the road during the pandemic, her cats, and the first time she performed in The Villages.
Of course, Paula is a panelist on NPR’s Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me! and the host of the host of her own comedy podcast, Nobody Listens to Paula Poundstone, co-hosted with fellow Wait Wait panelist, Adam Felber.
Paula’s 1996 HBO special, Paula Poundstone Goes to College, will be released for the first time as an audio album on Pandora on Saturday, October 23rd and worldwide on Friday, October 29th.
