Ocala residents can expect a new skate park in the near future. WUFT-FM's Blake Alderman says the city is trying something a little different for the new park's design.

Ocala Parks and Recreation Division Head Ire Beathea says the park will have a direct benefit to the city, especially the younger residents who enjoy activities like this. There is already one skate park in the city, but Beathea says this will reach out to people unwilling to travel to that facility. The survey is available at http://recreationandparks.ocalafl.org.
