NanoSonic Products, Inc. in Alachua has received a grant from the USDA Rural Development Office to support the installation of a solar electric renewable energy system. The system will make NanoSonic the only manufacturing company in Florida that generates adequate solar power to meet all of it's electrical manufacturing requirements. WUFT-FM's Brianna Rittersporn says this provides opportunities for the business and city at large.
