Miami Beach Implements Spring Break Ordinance Due To Overcrowded Beaches

Miami Beach implemented an ordinance to address the issue of overcrowded beaches during the spring break season. The ordinance, issued by Miami Beach City Manager Jimmy Morales, prohibits coolers, inflatable devices, tents, tables, amplified music and alcohol on the beach. This effort is intended to try to maintain a safe environment for beach goers.

Miami Beach Police don't want this ordinance to stop vacationers from visiting, however. The police encourage everyone to come out and have a good time while being safe and responsible. The ordinance will be active until April 16.
