Police: The Search For Hannah Brim May Be Over

Law enforcement officials believe they may have finally found the remains of Hannah Brim, a 23-year-old Gainesville woman who went missing in January.

Alachua County Sheriff's Office dive team members found multiple human bones in a swampy area near railroad tracks in Orange Heights.

Investigators were searching new areas following the murder indictment of Nelson Armsas early this month. Those bones are presumed to be Brim's, but need to be confirmed, according to news release from the Gainesville Police Department.

The sheriff's office is working with Gainesville Police Department's  Forensic Crime Unit, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the Office of the Medical Examiner and the University of Florida C.A. Pound Human Idenification Laboratory at the scene.
