There are lots of ways for businesses to support WUFT:

Matching Gifts
Challenge Grants
Event Sponsorship and In-Kind Donations

Matching Gifts

Many local businesses and organizations are participants in the Matching Gifts program. As participants, they each have a policy to match donations made to WUFT by employees, retirees, spouses, and/or widows or widowers. In this way, individuals wishing to make a financial gift to WUFT have the opportunity to double their gift simply by meeting the criteria of a participating company. Please note, each company has its own set of policies involving Matching Gifts, so please check with the human resources office of your company to find out their specific rules or to obtain a matching gift form. Challenge Grants

A Challenge Grant allows individuals and businesses a special opportunity to lend their support to WUFT in two different ways during on-air membership drives.

Through your Challenge Grant, you can:


  • Support WUFT by giving a financial gift of your own.

  • Encourage others to support the programs and services that we all know and love.

Event Sponsorship and In-Kind Donations

There is always something happening at WUFT! From countless events to honor donors and community members, to membership drives and everyday activities, there are many opportunities for you to support WUFT. For businesses that have special skills or resources, this is another great opportunity to help support WUFT. Please read on to learn more about how businesses can help WUFT.

Donate In-Kind

In-kind donations are non-cash gifts that help support WUFT by providing a product or service. If you are interested in donating in-kind through your business, please contact Sue Wagner at swagner@wuft.org.

Sponsor an Event

Here at WUFT, we host events every year. Though these events are essential to maintaining community support and carrying out the mission of WUFT, hosting them is no simple task. Sponsoring an event provides extremely valued support to WUFT, while at the same time giving your business valuable exposure to everyone who attends or reads about WUFT events.
