After being for one year a space for local artists, Gainesville Arts Studio hosts its final show before it closes its doors in December due to the health issues its owner is struggling with.

Parts of North Central Florida started the process of recovering from Hurricane Irma by picking up storm debris around several zones in the region. The pickup process after Hurricane Hermine in 2016 took about two weeks, but there is no estimate for how long this one will take.

Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art's visitors had the chance to experience a collection of paintings and drawings from Europe as well as other art pieces from Asia, Africa and Latin America.
