St. Francis House Executive Director, Kent Vann, stepped down after 17 years in the position to focus on his health and spend time with family.

The lawsuit argues that arresting people who identify themselves as homeless if they are sleeping or resting while awake in outdoor areas is cruel and unusual punishment and violates their humans rights to due process under the 8th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
