Terry Martin-Back hadn't ridden a bicycle in more than 40 years, but now he's training for an 85-mile cycling trip from Gainesville to Crescent Beach to raise money for the Alachua County Veterans Memorial Fund.

UF Transportation and Parking Services sold over 47,000 parking decals in 2016, and then issued more than 60,000 citations that same year, with two parking areas contributing to the majority of tickets because of their proximity to campus.

The Kanapaha Botanical Gardens Spring Garden Festival on Saturday and Sunday drew visitors and vendors from all over Florida.
